When I’m photographing anything the photo that ensues is a representation of some sort of feeling or mixture of feelings between the subject and myself. This is why photographing a person is a very revealing event for me. Landscapes don’t look at photos you’ve taken of them and pick them apart, but people do. And in the more intimate of relationships this deconstruction can be a very nerve wracking event.
